My Stéphane

Stéphane is my best friend since 5 years. I meet him by the basketball and slowly we became very good friends. Stéphane is like my brother , I can fight with him just for fun or borrow him some clothes. We are so close than is girlfriend is sometimes jealous of me because we past a lot of time together. We go at school together, work together and go party together , so it's rare to see me or Stéphane without the other. In conclusion , Stéphane is a important part of my life and I don't want to lose him.

My other and past passion: Basketball

My basketball career

            I started to play basketball when I was 8 years old. At the beginning I was very bad but, because I very loved this sport, I worked harder than the other and that made me became one of the better. I played in grade 4, 5, 6 at primary school but I really started to play in a true team at my first year at secondary school. I joined the team Kodiak and the Kodiak was very knew and reputed in all of Quebec, a big part of Ontario and a little part of the north of United States. In my first year I didn`t really learned new things because I has a very bad coach but everything was changed in the next summer when Louis Gosselin came back in Amos. With this coach I learned a lot of things for basketball and in the other hand the life in general. I played all my rest of my basketball years with him. These 4 years was the better of my life because during this I just think about one thing: the Basketball.  At the end of last year, who was my last one, I was one of the better defense players of my age in Quebec even if I was really little. Now I play whit the Panthers of Canadore College, it’s not a big team like the Kodiak but it permit me to be play a last year.

Although I love my car, I love music too !!!

I think, from my personnal opinion, that music is something that i couldn't live without. If i take a brief look in my today's journey, i just don't remember a moment where i didn't had a song playing on repeat in my head and it seem like everything is reminding me a melody or some songs lyrics. It seem like my whole life is guided by music. When i do my basket-ball training, I'm more motivated to push my limits when there's some music that i like who's playing.

Past love's. Chevy Cavalier 03

My first love ( my first tune car ) was my Chevy Cavalier 2003, it's was a very nice which all my friends remember. They remember the sound and especialy how suspension was hard because it was a race one and I add 2 torsion bars, so we can feel every hole in the asphalt ,but at high speed the control was unbelievable. I had a dvd player to in this car and sound system was to powerful to listen to music at the maximum and stay in the car. Sell this car have been a very hard step in my life but I didn't have the choice because the police was tire to see and always catch me for nothing.

On the next spring I'm going to add somethings on my car. I want to add some horse power on my car to race on all race events. I'll probably add bigger cam, harder spring, short ram air intake, exhaust 3 inchs and some shoots of nitrous. It will become a very powerful car for less than $2000. Have you prepared you car for the winter ?? 4 things to do with your car to the winter

I know it's not everybody who like his car like me, but in love or not your have to prepare your car for the winter with at less 4 things

1- Change your oil: The classic oli the manufactur recommand is the 5w30 but in the cold day like -35, this oil isn't enough liquid to lubricate all the engine. So I recommand to you to use 0w30 synthetic oil because it's really a liquid oil and for winter it's the best.

2-Change your tire: Even though it's rule in a lot of province, a lot of person still keep summer's tire during winter and that's dangerous and stupid. Buy good winter tire and it will help you to keep the control of your car during the bad weather.

3-Change your wipers: In car it's important to see well and the wipers are exactly there for this , but some kinds of wiper are not made for the winter because the froze, so they don't wipe. This is why you must have good winter wipers.

4-Put a snow brush in your car: How can you put off all the snow on your car without a snow brush ? It's impossible so you must have a snow brush in your car.

Change your oil by yourself is cheaper, follow this and save money !!

Changing the oil of a car is easy as getting a cup of coffee at Tim Horton’s. I find this easy it’s a lot thing to think but not a lot of thing to do. The first thing to do is thinking. Think to have other oil of the good category and another oil filter. You also need to think to have the tools necessary like a ramp, wrench and a drum for old oil. When you have all this things can start but before don’t forget a very important thing: Do this when the engine of the car was cold because the oil can burn you. You’re good to go. Put the car on the ramp, a bolt was supposed to be under the engine , put the drum under and unscrew the bolt with the wrench. When the oil stops to come out replace the bolt and tighten with the wrench again. Now it’s time to put the new oil. Under the hood and on top of the engine , find the cap which is write oil fill up and put the new oil in , replace the cap and you’re finish. Finally you can see changing the oil is easy as getting coffee at Tim Horton’s because you just have to think about a lot of thing but you don’t have a lot of things to do.

My First Race

                        Since I’m a little boy, I went to Barraute with my family to see the cars drag races and I always said: I will do this race one day. It’s happen this year, I did my first legally race at Barraute. The night before a clean my car to be sure it will be shine. I got up at 6 o’clock the day of race and I was really nervous, my dream will happen so I have to show what I can do. Arrived at Barraute, I waited for my name to go on the line, but my name never came out. At this time I understand it have a problem so I went to see the organization and they said me I will race in the 4 cylinders modify because they think my cobalt is supercharge but it isn’t. So even if I’m suppose to race in 4 cylinders stock, I do my entire race against very modify cars. I lost all my races but never by a long distance. In short, I passed a beautiful day but I don’t won like I want.

My first meeting with the beast.

I command my car in May 2010 and receive it in June . When I arrive at the garage , immediately I see this beautiful red cobalt SS like in my dream. Right off the bat, I start to examinate this beautiful beast when the salesman comes to see me and gives me the keys. When I start this 2.4 ecotec engine ,WOW, I feel like a racers because I can feel the torque and the power of this 172 horsespower and his 165 lf-ft. During the first drive I feel all the time like a child who justs have the present of his dream. When I come back at the garage , I sign the paper and leave with my car.
